  1. Would love to win a calendar of northern lights from Dora. Her shop in Talkeetna I’m sure is filled with the beauty of the lights!

  2. Lucky Dora Miller!!! She lives in and her gallery/workshops are in Talkeetna, Alaska. I would love to win because of being a child of the earth with eyes toward the sky. It’s a big universe!!

  3. Wow!! What fantastic pictures on the calendar pages. I rarely win anything, but would love to win this calendar. Thank you so much for donating this to be a prize.

  4. Haven’t been able to catch the aurora yet here in SE AK, but we are fairly new so there’s still plenty of time (assuming the weather ever happens to be clear when there is a display). Love Aurora Dora’s photography!!

  5. Whooooooooooops! I sent my message away way too soon…. I am not finished yet ……as I was saying:

I would LOVE to win one of these beautiful calendars as I don’t have – not one – calendar for next year yet and I always try to find one that reflects this wondrous place that we live in. I always feel spiritual looking at the awesome Northern Lights do a night sky dance. It would be a thrill to win one of these calendars indeed!
I would like to get in the running for the metal print as well. I am aware that Dora’s shop is in Talkeetna, AK. I plan on paying the shop a visit next time we are up that way. But until then…PICK ME to win! Thanks! 🙂

  7. Our bucket list is topped by hoping to see the aurora in person, and so the Aurora Dora shop at Talkeetna will be on our way when we visit Alaska. Until then we take all opportunities for a glimpse here where we live of that beautiful sky–which doesn’t happen often–and until then we’ll continue to enjoy her spectacular images.

  8. Your photos are amazing. I sure wish I could see the auroras in real life but I can’t so I turn to you. I would really like to win!!!

  9. my wife and I were in Talkeetna last year on our Alaskan cruise. We visited her shop and bought several of her amazing photos. One of our favorites is one with Denali in the background. We look forward to seeing them in person someday

  10. I would love to see the Northern Lights. It is on my ‘bucket list’ as so many of the folks on this site. Hopefully one day I will be able to stand under the shimmering lighted curtain and experience first hand the gorgeous sights of Nature. I appreciate the pictures and the beauty shared.

  11. Aurora Dora is at Talkeetna Spur Road X Main St, Talkeetna, Alaska 99676 (sadly, far far away from me). I love auroras (aurorae?) and would love to win the calendar to have them to see in cloudy Michigan.

  12. I am in Belize so I am not able to see the Northern Lights. The children of Hopkins would ooh and Ahhh over the pictures in your calendar. The studio is in Talkeenta, Alaska.

  13. Aurora Dora’s shop is in Talkeetna, AK. I would love to win the print so that I can enjoy looking at what Aurora Dora and her camera sees. The northern lights where I live are not at all like her incredible photos.

  14. We live too far south and with too much light to see the Aurora. We even traveled to Iceland but to no avail, so we see all the beauty of the Aurora through your website and magnificent photos. Hopefully, we will be able to see the Aurora in person.

  15. Never had the opportunity to see the auroras u ti, I moved up to Alaska last year, Few thing s are as mesmerizing and revealing of GOD’s creative mind as auroras are. Still learning how to photograph the auroras and I know just how challenging it is to photograph an aurora display. So thumbs up to Dora for her temerity in braving the frigid air of norther Alaska during the winter months!

  16. New to this site and am totally in love with all the news and photos,,, from mid-michigan and dreaming of a real aurora sitting some day.

  17. I have been infatuated with the auroras since coming to Aladka but it is only since connecting with aurora notify that I’ve actually learned what they are all about! Thank you!

  18. Love seeing pictures of the Auroras. Being from the Chicago area seeing them is very rare. Hope to be up in AK next year to see them first hand!

  19. Boy feeling stupid, fat fingers on the key board ha ha ha , Dora has a little office in Talkeetna, Alaska. My wife and I both have visited her store several times but never met Dora, We live in Anchorage and the weather has blocked out the views of the Auroras so we never have seen one directly before. She has so many beautiful photos, who wouldn’t want one!

  20. Went up to Fairbanks a year ago to see the Auroras. Saw them faintly but am hoping to return next year. I fell in love with what I saw and am hoping to see some displays and dancing like what you capture in your photos. Love it! I am from Illinois but keep up with the Aurora notifications and actually let a couple of AK friends know when something is reported by them!

  21. The Aurora lights are such a vivid confirmation of God’s glory and power. Aurora Dora is blessed with the ability to capture it in her photos. What a joy to behold and praise our Amazing God!

  22. Talkeetna Ak. She was the first Aurora photographer I started to follow and her work inspired me to go out and shoot them.

  23. Aurora Dora has a little office in Talkeetna, Alaska, my wife and I have ben their serval times but missed her on all visits. We live in Anchorage and always being blocked out by the Auroras and she has so many beautiful photos who wanted want one!
