Tonight’s aurora forecast is Kp 2.
Tomorrow night (Friday night/Saturday morning) is Kp 4.
We haven’t been reporting too much lately because of lack of activity on the sun and/or cloudy skies above the house in North Pole, Alaska. Remember you can “cheat” by looking at the webcams to see what the lights and weather are doing. If you didn’t notice it already, I have included the Kp level forecast on the webcam, so you can have a quick look any evening. Remember, we can see lights at Kp 0 in Fairbanks and interior Alaska, and northern Canada, where the aurora oval typically sits.
