aurora faintly seen in the Fairbanks, North Pole areas at 430 to 5am. A few reports of meteors from all over the state, however, due to the hour, I think most people are asleep! The clouds had finally blown away well after midnight, and the few who remained awake got the show.
It’s been quiet the past few days with only minimum aurora on the horizon in Alaska (along with cloud cover). Tomorrow night (Sat night) there is a chance for aurora, and the forecast shows Sunday night to be even better.

Big beautiful aurora reported in northern Europe right now, some areas with clouds. Aurora Sky Station webcam is still down, but here is another webcam link in Norway — Tromso Norway aurora webcam. In a few hours, southern Australia may experience a show. Hoping for clear skies in North America tonight.
