quiet lately

The aurora has been quiet lately in the Fairbanks area. It has been seen in the usual great location of Yellowknife, NT, but for us here in the interior of AK, clouds, snow, and an aurora very low on the horizon gave us the much needed sleep. It seems as though we are still recovering from the 3 nights in a row we had super auroras, March 15, 16, 17, with the 17th going to bed at 5:30am after our bodies simply gave out. A few other photographers reported they went to bed only after the sunshine forced them too.
