Very poor weather for any viewing in AK

Poor weather in Fairbanks and Anchorage not to mention southeast AK. The aurora forecast at the moment does not appear to be great. The CME forecast was weaker than predicted (hoped for?). Either way, the weather will block any potential viewing. Canada may have a chance tonight, if the weather is decent.

In other news, there has been a lot of activity on the sun. This could result in auroras in the next few days. So keep watch all this weekend.
