Aurora band overhead in the Fairbanks areas. Kp 1.

The aurora can be seen overhead in the Fairbanks areas in one large band. Kp 1. Temp -33F. Time of this post 10:55pm. Merry Christmas eve! Also reporting Delta Junction, Ester, Nuiqsut, Kaktovik, Fort Yukon. Update: The brightest part of the show lasted about an hour, now it has faded but still there.

Faint auroras reported in Wasilla, Eagle River, JBER, all low on the horizon. Petersville and Trappers Creek area reporting good aurora.
