Last nights aurora, this mornings CME hit, Europe gets the show
Last night’s show wasn’t as great as forecast, due to the IMF not in alignment, but the good news is there is still a chance for tonight for Alaska. NOAA Space Weather forecast auroras for the next 3 nights in northern locations, and possibly in the middle latitudes.
The 2nd CME hit this morning, so Europe is getting a show right now. Scotland, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, and northern England are seeing auroras. Current Kp level is 5, down from 6. Excellent southward Bz.
