nothing became of that CME in the USA

The forecasts were great, but the CME did not produce auroras like they forecast. Here in interior Alaska, there is a chance of auroras just about every night. Sometimes they are weak, and sometimes strong. Tonight the forecast looks great, but so far the data does not support that. All we can do is wait. Current Kp level is 0.

On a side note, there is an app out there that is saying Kp 5 everyday for the next week. This is not accurate, sorry to say. Tonight and tomorrow look promising, and the 3rd day looks quiet.
