It’s been a busy night for sky watchers. The aurora burst in the sky in many locations and continues as of this post at 3am. The Kp level now is 6, but could go higher as we approach morning. Aurora fans in Europe standby for a show.

Antarctica: McMurdo Station, South Pole Station. New Zealand: Dunedin, Christchurch, Brighton, Gore, Invercargill, Nelson, Timaru and more! Southern Australia. Hobart overcast.

Alaska cities reporting: Ketchikan, Copper Center, Healy, Beluga Point, Willow, Soldotna, Homer, Kenai, Delta Junction, Kasilof, Juneau, Anchorage, Eagle River, Two Rivers. Fairbanks areas overcast for the most part. Many reporting cities had clouds take over the sky.
