the aurora can be seen in North Pole and Two Rivers, possibly the Fairbanks area. Look north and northeast! Current Kp is 0 rising to 1 so far. Temp -34F.

not a 4 tonight
I’m not sure why the Geo Phys Institute forecast a Kp 4. Looking at all the data, it just didn’t add up. There may be a small aurora overnight. Tomorrow night is looking good for aurora (Wed night/Thurs morn). How about the lunar eclipse tonight instead? It starts at 315am and peaks at 515am Alaska…
