Clouds in some areas and northward Bz, 2 indicators that it will be awhile, maybe even hours before we see anything. Tonight may be a bust after all despite other indicators lining up. The Kp is fluctuating wildly up and down from 0 to 3, currently a 3. Put simply, the aurora can’t be seen at the moment, but may make an appearance late into the night and early morning.
