Last night, another show, tonight, another G1 storm

Tonight, another good forecast…..wake up, sleepyhead! G1 storm! What?? More auroras statewide plus a chance for the northern contiguous USA.
Update Monday evening: Forecast changed to active.
Update Monday night: data weakened, Bz north. No show as of midnight. Auroras appeared in the early morning hours before the sun rose.

The lights came out yet again last night in Alaska. They were faint at times, but gorgeous with the sliver of a moon setting. The green band brightened for just long enough to give aurora watchers a good show.
