Aurora Class and Party- Fairbanks, Alaska this weekend

Join us this Friday or Saturday from Fairbanks Alaska for a fun class and party. Learn about how to chase the aurora yourself with a presentation by aurora enthusiast Christian Harris. This year, he will show us examples of data that produced great aurora, or didn’t produce any aurora at all, how to read the data and be successful with aurora watching, and appreciating the science behind this great hobby. This is geared toward the novice and beginner aurora watcher.

Enjoy food and conversation, photography, and of course the aurora!

2 different locations to choose from. Cafego’s BnB, where we will mostly be indoors until the aurora comes out (and good thing, it’s supposed to be pretty cold!). This location has a babysitter if you would like to bring your kids (please advise us ahead of time).

Or Howling Bay Kennels, where we will watch the presentation inside the heated dome! A bonfire outside will make watching the aurora even more magical.
