the aurora is gearing up for a show in Fairbanks….if no clouds
The aurora is expected to put on a little show very soon in the Fairbanks area, however the clouds are rapidly moving in. Current Kp is 2. Time is 10:25pm

The aurora can be seen across the sky in a long band, in the Fairbanks and North Pole areas. Not much more is expected.
Surprise show photo from last night
Last night’s surprise show in Fairbanks was quite a treat. It lasted from about 1am to 4am. It was a Kp 0. As of this post, the Kp is 2, but it is cloudy. This photo was taken in Two Rivers, near Fairbanks. [photo deleted]
