last night’s aurora was fabulous!
Current Kp level is 4 “active”. 3 more hours to dark in Alaska. Some clouds around the area.
Last night we had reports from all over parts of Alaska (the parts with clearer skies), much of Canada (BC, AB, SK, NT, NL, ON), the northern USA including VT, NH, OH, IN, WI, MN, MI, ND, ID, WA. Scotland reported in also! Several people reported seeing the show from the air, flying into and out of Alaska.
Places reporting clouds and no aurora were the Anchorage area, Kodiak, Juneau, and the states WY, CO. (note: these are reports directly to us, aurora may have been seen in other areas as well)Here is a photo aurora hunter Gary Kallberg took this morning at 3!
