Last night hoped to be a pretty good show, but despite the data, the aurora did not come out as we wanted. The aurora we did see did not last long at all. Clouds rolled into the Fairbanks area and it snowed. In the rest of the state, the aurora remained faint, or not seen at all. It was a Kp 4, 5 much of the night. Tonight’s forecast is quiet with unsettled activity. This means that the interior of AK may see some active aurora, but it may be low on the horizon.
