It has been very quiet. No auroras lately in Fairbanks

We are still here. We are still watching the skies. It not only has been cloudy, but the auroras have been non-existent in Alaska. There have been auroras more north, and into the aurora oval, but not in Fairbanks or Anchorage. Despite the activity on the sun, we have seen nothing lately. The forecast is continued quiet. This does not mean that there won’t be any aurora, it means that if there is, it may be seen briefly on the horizon. We may see activity pick up in a couple days. See you then.
