last night, we had starry clear skies. Tonight it is cloudy, and the aurora forecast is only a 2, meaning a small chance of auroral activity.

there was a small green band over the eastern sky of Fairbanks last night. It was hard to see at midnight. If you have streetlights you would not have been able to see it. I was driving around and saw it. I didnt think it was good enough to repost.
