Chance of unsettled aurora tonight in interior and northern Alaska, but most of the state will be overcast, cloudy, and snowy. Predicted Kp 2. Current Kp 2.

Aurora low on the horizon from the Fairbanks area, however, there is solid cloud cover in Fairbanks. It gets a little clearer away from town, but not much. If you are headed up to Cleary Summit, you will get a small show. Salmon cam is not showing much due to clouds, but an alternate viewpoint…
