auroras overhead, Fairbanks, Fox, Eielson AFB, Ft WW. Kp 3. Time of this post: 9:57pm

This was taken to the north, from North Pole, AK right before 1am

The aurora is finally putting on a show, but the moonlight washes out a lot of the action. It is still seen with the naked eye, and the camera picks up some nice colors.

A steady faint band can be seen high in the sky in the interior of AK. Any other areas have not been reported yet. Kp 1. Time of this post 11:48pm

Good chance for northern lights tonight in Fairbanks area, and possibly other areas, we will keep you posted. Also, tomorrow night and Thursday night are looking good for mainly the interior of AK, and again, possibly for other areas such as Anchorage.
