The aurora is forecast to be quiet tonight. This means we may get a small showing low on the horizon in the Fairbanks area. Be sure to change your clocks. You will be awake anyway, right?

The aurora is currently being seen very low on the horizon, and weak. The anticipated show tonight never happened as of 1:45am. The numbers are fluctuating, but nothing much is expected.
