The auroras are dancing low on the horizon in the Fairbanks area, and are rising higher in the sky. Head out away from city lights for the best view. Kp 2 so far, at 7:50pm

The aurora can be seen in Yellowknife and other parts of Canada! Fairbanks can see the aurora very faint on the horizon as of 6:40pm.

Chance for auroras tonight in Fairbanks with a Kp index of 2 or 3, but the weather forecast is cloudy. The aurora can currently be seen in Yellowknife. Monday night/Tuesday morning the aurora forecast looks very good, and possibly the whole state of Alaska has a chance to view it.
