As of 8pm Alaska time, auroras are being seen in many areas including: NT, AB, MB, MN, MT, WA. Many other areas have clouds. Alaska is waiting for darkness. Current Kp level is 5.
The CME has impacted earth and auroras are expected tonight! Auroras could possibly be seen in the northern states. Entire state of Alaska may see lights if the weather is clear. Check your skies! Kp 7 possible.
