We have lights in Fairbanks! Look UP!!! Straight up, and also to the north. Kp 1
More lights expected tonight for the interior and northern Alaska. Smaller chance for Anchorage and south. Of course this also depends on the weather (clouds). Current Kp level as of 9pm is 2.
The aurora can be seen in the sky in the Fairbanks North Pole areas. The Kp index is 4, and is unsettled, which means the lights may come and go tonight. There is a possibility that other areas of Alaska may see the lights (Anchorage, Palmer). Check your skies. Time of this post 11pm.
