Fairbanks can see the lights at 11:45pm. Beautiful swirls. Kp 2. Anchorage areas may be able to see the lights as well.
Tonight’s forecast is quiet to unsettled. This means possibly another night of auroras for Alaska. Tomorrow night’s forecast is unsettled to active (great!). Mostly clear skies in the forecast for Fairbanks and Anchorage. Forecasts are from NOAA NWS Space Weather Prediction Center.
