Another burst of lights at 1am, statewide!
Alaska has lights, statewide! It’s 1am and the aurora is bursting from the south (as seen from North Pole). Anchorage areas have lights toward the north and overhead! Kp 4.

Fairbanks has lights now at 610pm! Minnesota also has lights
Many locations in Minnesota are reporting auroras. Fairbanks has lights now at 610pm Alaska time. The Kp level is 4. Reds are overhead! Yes, Anchorage areas can expect lights soon as well.
Expect lights in Alaska tonight! Kp 5 potential
Finally, after a few days of waiting, we are seeing some great data and we are expecting auroras tonight in Alaska. Also, Canada, and maybe the northern states as well. This aurora storm has a potential of Kp 5. The last couple of nights produced auroras but not at storm level.
