CME hit today, but so far not too strong

Byauroranotify November 18, 2015February 3, 2023

The CME hit during our day here in Alaska, and northern Europe is seeing auroras where it is not cloudy. The Kp level is 4. The show may continue on tonight for the upper portion of the contiguous USA, Canada, and Alaska.

@NStewWX @Stormchaser_TS @Vincent_Ledvina @evanjames_wx @TuckerWilliam88 @WickyDubs2 @AuroraNotify @spacewxwatch @TamithaSkov @AStormofPassion Here’s how it evolved. It started very broad and faint directly overhead here in Spokane. Then it narrowed and brightened and dropped towards the horizon, whilst shifting subtly to the west.
