Still waiting for clear skies from Fairbanks

The aurora has been pretty good lately….in areas where the sky has been clear! Skagway and Juneau, Alaska were clear a few nights ago and saw nice aurora. Yellowknife has been seeing lights. Anchorage saw a glimpse recently from JBER. Aurora tour guides out of Fairbanks have been met with success, but had to drive fairly far to see clear skies with aurora. Norway and Iceland have reported good sightings in between weather.

This weekend the weather forecast is clear for Fairbanks and Anchorage. Here is to hoping the auroras are good!
