good chance for lights tonight
Good chance for northern lights tonight in Fairbanks area, and possibly other areas, we will keep you posted. Also, tomorrow night and Thursday night are looking good for mainly the interior of AK, and again, possibly for other areas such as Anchorage.

the aurora can be seen on the horizon in North Pole, Fox, and Two Rivers. Also in the Fort Yukon area. Kp 1. Time 11:50pm As of 12:50 the aurora became higher in the sky, but did not last long. It remains quiet with unsettled active bursts. The Kp is fluctuating between 0 and 2….
quiet lately
The aurora has been quiet lately in the Fairbanks area. It has been seen in the usual great location of Yellowknife, NT, but for us here in the interior of AK, clouds, snow, and an aurora very low on the horizon gave us the much needed sleep. It seems as though we are still recovering…

Last night hoped to be a pretty good show, but despite the data, the aurora did not come out as we wanted. The aurora we did see did not last long at all. Clouds rolled into the Fairbanks area and it snowed. In the rest of the state, the aurora remained faint, or not seen…
