Nothing to report lately. The aurora has been quiet or non-existent, and the weather in Fairbanks has been overcast. The aurora forecast is looking pretty good for Thursday and Friday nights, but the weather may not cooperate.
The aurora can be seen to the north in the Fairbanks areas in one long band, fading in and out. Kp 1. Official North Pole temp is -42F with haze and fog. Aurora could strengthen. Time 11pm
