After waiting all evening for it, the aurora finally made an appearance just now at 135am in the Fairbanks areas. Kp 0.
aurora in areas with no clouds
Aurora seen in Delta Jct, Two Rivers, and on Cleary Summit, AK. If you have no clouds in interior and northern AK, then you may be able to see the aurora. Clouds in North Pole, overcast in many other areas. Kp 2.
Great aurora tonight with overcast skies
Excellent chance for auroras tonight in Canada and Alaska, with a Kp index of 3 or 4. Unfortunately, we have overcast skies in the Fairbanks region and Anchorage region, so the show may be totally covered! If you are flying, or know someone who is, you may see the show!
