The aurora is overhead and also on the horizon in the Fairbanks area. Mainly a green band, but pinks are also visible. Surprise event, no doubt, since the forecast was quiet. Kp 1.
Auroras can be seen low on the horizon in Delta Junction. Also seen very slightly on the webcam on Cleary Summit. Clouds in some areas. Kp 1.
The aurora can be seen in some areas of Alaska where there are no clouds (Delta Jct, Chugiak), but it is low, and dim much of the time. Kp 1, southward Bz.
