Active auroras tonight possible, but could be later.

The forecast for tonight is active, at Kp 4, however, the Kp level is 2 at 740pm Alaska time. We do have a tiny faint amount of aurora very low on the horizon in the interior of Alaska. Temperature is a chilly -24F in North Pole, +14F in Anchorage.

Wed night and Thurs night, the aurora forecast is predicting G1 storms again. For straight to the source info see NOAA Space Weather. G1 storms (Kp 5) from coronal hole, and should reach the upper portion of the lower 48 states.
