We are awaiting reports of an aurora tonight in the upper portion of the lower 48. Canada and Alaska should see it as well, if in an area with no clouds. The Fairbanks area has total cloud cover as of 7:30pm.

Despite a low kp level and weak forecast, the aurora made an appearance last night. It was mostly cloudy in our area. Tonight expect more of the same, with possible minor activity at higher latitudes (to include Fairbanks).
