Aurora currently being seen in Minnesota. Tonight looks pretty good for the Fairbanks area. If there is an aurora spotted after the sun goes down, we will report back.

The first aurora of the season has been reported! We went outside to look, and there it was, big and grand and beautiful sweeping across the entire sky. Welcome back, Aurora!
Poker Flat visit
The open house at Poker Flat yesterday was fun. Displays, short lectures, and tours were put on despite the pouring rain. We were there and had a great time. The Controller said it was their 1st open house, and hopefully they will do it again. We recommend going next time if you missed it!
