330am auroras
the auroras continue! It’s 330am, and the aurora is still being reported in the Fairbanks areas, as well as down near Anchorage. JBER is excited to report the aurora. If it’s dark out and you are reading this, head outside.

Photos from tonight. It was a great show in North Pole despite the ice fog, smokestacks, the bright moon, and the brutal temperature.

Aurora is out NOW in the entire Fairbanks region, as well as the MatSu valley area as of 1140pm. Weather is VERY cold. Use caution if going out.

Last night it was solid clouds. The aurora was above the clouds (as indicated by the data and referencing AuroraMax). The MatSu Valley saw a very brief show low on the horizon for about 10 minutes or so. Tonight the forecast is a 1, and the data does not look exciting. The sky sure did…
