Cloudy weather and weak aurora

Tonight and the next 2 nights, the weather in Alaska is poor for aurora viewing. Both Fairbanks and Anchorage and in between are forecast snow and clouds. Whitehorse Yukon is also expecting snow.

The aurora forecast is Kp 2 for the next 3 nights. Solar winds are close to 400 and expected to weaken. If the clouds should have an opening, aurora viewing will be low on the horizon and mostly a weak green band (unless space weather conditions change).
