the aurora forecast and kp levels are looking excellent right now for the northernmost US and most of Canada. Just one report from Michigan, “bright but no structure”. Kp level 4. Lower northern latitudes and areas where it’s dark at night may see the aurora.
The aurora forecast is looking excellent for Northern Europe right now. There may be a possibility of it showing itself to North America come nightfall. We will keep you posted. This is not for the Fairbanks area, as the midnight sun is too bright. This will be for folks in darker, and lower latitudes.
3rd night in a row, the upper portion of the lower 48 has a great chance of aurora. Current kp level 4. Will be 6. Fairbanks and further north, slim chance due to sunlight.
