The Fairbanks area has lights! A long aurora band can be seen across the sky. Faint at times, but brightening. Kp 1. Time of this post 11:55pm
The aurora has burst over Fairbanks. Kp 1. 210 am.
The expected CME that was supposed to hit yesterday, or last night, never arrived. Sporadic, faint lights appeared randomly. Tonight, the aurora is trying to make an appearance. Look to the northeast in the Fairbanks area. Kp 1. Another CME is expected to hit in a couple days, a weekend aurora possible!
The Fairbanks area can see the northern lights across the entire sky toward the north. It is a long band. The Kp level is 0, and the time of this post is 12:25am
