Nice show despite the clouds
Fairbanks saw a nice show despite the clouds. North Pole wasn’t so lucky, with rain in the late hours. Anchorage areas reported aurora after 2am. Kp 3 and 4 most the night.

Northern lights over Whitehorse, great show reported. Fairbanks, excellent show in areas with no clouds. Kp 4.

Auroras throughout Canada now with a Kp 4 as of 9:30pm.
Auroras over northern Europe now Kp 2
Auroras are being seen over Europe now, and expected to continue into the night over North America. Alaska has cloudy weather in many locations. If you don’t have clouds in your area tonight, look up! Kp 4, 5 is possible.

Clouds and rain continue to dominate the aurora forecast in both Fairbanks and Anchorage. The aurora is predicted the next 3 nights due to C-class solar flares (source: NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center). Possible Kp 5, Thurs and Fri night.
