The aurora is faint tonight, but bright enough to see away from city lights. Kp 0, 1. The stars are simply amazing tonight, and the milky way can be seen.

The aurora can be seen in the Fairbanks area tonight with a Kp of 1. Auroras also can be seen in the Denali, Healy, and Delta Jct areas. Big green bands, large widespread display over the sky.
Auroras looking good in many locations that have no clouds. Montana has a beautiful show on the horizon, and Whitehorse, Yukon has great lights tonight. Clouds cover the entire Fairbanks region and much of the MatSu and Anchorage areas have clouds. Other areas may be able to see auroras as the Kp level is still…

Waiting and hoping for the predicted incoming CME tonight! This means great auroras capable of Kp 6. Also, good luck to all the moose hunters out there! Look up to the sky tonight!
