Last night, auroras barely came out, and clouds overtook most of Alaska. The forecast G1 storm never happened. Tonight the data is looking ok for the interior, however, the temperature fell to -33F as of 815pm Alaska time. Be careful if heading out.

The aurora can be seen to the north in the Fairbanks areas in one long band, fading in and out. Kp 1. Official North Pole temp is -42F with haze and fog. Aurora could strengthen. Time 11pm
1:40am overhead in the Fairbanks areas, we have auroras toward the north. A quiet green display. Kp 1. Temp -27F. The aurora made a brief appearance earlier in the evening as well. In North Pole, it was mixed with clouds and fog.
