more Auroras! Fairbanks! Also Anchorage areas!
Auroras can be seen in the Fairbanks areas. Area wide. Possible to see in Anc, low on the horizon. JBER, Wasilla, and Earthquake Park can see auroras.

auroras overhead like crazy on North Pole, Two Rivers, Fox, Eielson AFB, Ft WW, Delta. Also reported in the MatSu and Jber.
CME hit, head on out
The CME expected has arrived and auroras can be seen in Canada right now: Yellowknife, Whitehorse. Also, the North Slope, haul road, and Ft Yukon. Expect Fairbanks shortly. Head on out now!

The Fairbanks areas can see the aurora faintly and low on the horizon. Short bursts of aurora, lasting only a few minutes. Kp 0. Very windy conditions for our area plus icy roads equals difficult driving. Temp -2F, windchill -49F
