G1 storm watch Wed night

From NOAA Space Weather forecast:

By midday on 22 Sep, a possible CIR is anticipated in advance of a large, equatorial CH HSS. As a result, enhanced solar wind conditions are expected on 22-23 Sep.

Keep in mind 22-23 Sept is UTC, so we will be watching a full night earlier in Alaska for the arrival signature.

Beginning Wednesday night (Alaska time) we will be watching for the CIR (co-rotating interaction region).

We can expect Kp 4 or Kp 5 (G1) as indicated in the forecast, due to a CHHSS (coronal hole high speed stream).

Heads up for aurora!

Tip: Be sure to look at the great map of where to go, instead of wandering around hoping for a glimpse.
