a great but short storm was out earlier tonight, and the aurora is coming out again at midnight! Fairbanks, North Pole, as well as many parts of AK. KP level 5.

Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota are reporting aurora, and we suspect other northern states can see it as well. Tonight is THE night to get out and look. We will be keeping watch tonight.
