aurora all night long!
Clouds are winning in most areas of Fairbanks, the aurora is peeking through. The wind wins out in Delta, and Anchorage has no reports of aurora at all. The aurora is expected to continue all night long. AND the aurora is forecast again for tomorrow night.

Expect auroras tonight in Canada and Alaska. Let’s hope for clear(er) skies. The predicted Kp is a 4 for tonight, but you know how that goes! (it could be greater or weaker). Chance of unsettled auroral activity tonight in the interior of Alaska, dependent on clear skies. We may see aurora. Not a big event. This weekend, there is hope for a bigger show.

It is really nice to see that the scientists were wrong, and it wasn’t “just me”. It is very validating. I could not locate this…
