A G1 storm is forecast for Saturday night due to an incoming CME. If it does hit, then expect auroras in Alaska Saturday night into Sunday morning. Kp 5 is forecast.

Despite all the activity on the sun recently and despite great forecasts with incoming CMEs, we have yet to see the aurora put on display other than a low band on the horizon last night (North Pole, Alaska). The forecast says that tomorrow night (Sunday night/Monday morning), we may see a show.
