Aurora of April 23, 24 2023

What a great night that was! And for high latitude locations, it was almost the last night of northern lights for the season. Lights were seen from Colorado, Utah, and other “not typical” areas.

The Kp level reached Kp 8 and the solar wind speed averaged about 500 km/sec. The Bt high was 33 and a very nice Bz -32 then slowly rising over 10 hours to 0. Great data for aurora watching!
